This farm on Bozcaada is a corner of paradise for urban children, who rarely get a chance to be in touch with nature. They can collect eggs from the henhouse before breakfast, pet the goats or chase the geese around the yard. They will also love the bicycles and the tree house. The century-old Greek farmhouse has been sensitively restored. The facilities are fairly basic, but the welcome is friendly. Rooms are larger in the annex building, which lacks the charm of the old stone house. Grownups can explore the island, daydream or roll up their sleeves to pick fruit and vegetables. Or they can simply enjoy the food: everything consumed here is freshly picked and the wine is of course the hosts’ own production. After a few glasses, it tastes just like Petrus.
